Govt. of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a notification in compliance of the direction issued by the Lahore High Court.
School Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab issued notification Vide No. SO (A-I) 1-31/2022 on 06th December 2022 for weekly three days closure of all public and private schools.
The notification of the School Education Department Punjab contains that all private and public schools would remain closed every Friday, and Saturday, in addition to the weekly holiday on Sunday due to the prevailing smog condition in Punjab till further orders.

While hearing on Tuesday, LHC ordered the Punjab Government to submit a notification regarding the closure of schools.
In compliance of LHC order, the Government of Punjab issued a notification regarding the closure of all private and public schools.
