Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has made it clear that he will not negotiate with the establishment or bow to pressure from any foreign country. Speaking through his sister, Aleema Khan, outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Monday, she relayed Khan’s firm stance on fighting all the cases against him.
Khan emphasized that he sees no need for any deals while fighting his legal battles, saying, “What need is there for a deal when I am fighting cases?” He also rejected any influence from the establishment or foreign entities, stating, “I will not strike a deal on the orders of the establishment or any country.”
Aleema Khan also shared her brother’s criticisms of the judiciary, accusing it of undermining the system. She reiterated Khan’s claims that those responsible for the May 9 incidents were known, including the individuals who allegedly stole CCTV footage. “The plot for May 9 was premeditated,” Aleema said, and those who left the party after the events had their cases dropped.

She called for a judicial commission to investigate the incidents of May 9 and November 26, demanding the release of innocent detainees. Aleema also raised concerns about the discovery of mass graves similar to those at Lal Masjid, linking them to growing fears about missing persons, especially in relation to the events of November 26.
Khan’s opposition to house arrest was also highlighted, with Aleema stating that he would not accept being placed under house arrest at his Bani Gala residence.
Regarding his ongoing legal battles, Aleema expressed confidence that both the Toshakhana and Al-Qadir Trust cases would be dismissed in higher courts. She noted that the ruling in the Al-Qadir case is expected on January 6 but remains optimistic about the eventual clearing of all charges.
