Indian Government is Accused of Killings Inside Pakistan

The allegations against India’s intelligence agency, RAW, are based on compelling evidence, including interviews with officials from both India and Pakistan, documents shared by Pakistani investigators, and a rise in unexplained killings in Pakistan. According to reports, RAW has allegedly been involved in assassinations in Pakistan since 2020, targeting terrorists, Sikh dissidents, and others they deem as a threat to India.

It is reported that RAW allegedly established sleeper cells in the United Arab Emirates to manage their operations. The agency is believed to have targeted both militants and dissidents, including Sikh activists linked to the Khalistan movement. Reports also suggest that millions of rupees were allegedly paid to criminals or Islamists to carry out the killings, sometimes disguised as robberies. Some killings are also believed to have been carried out using the “religious method” by recruiting Islamists who believed they were targeting “infidels.”

According to the allegations, up to 20 assassinations have taken place in Pakistan since 2020 by unknown gunmen. It is believed that the assassinations increased after the 2019 Pulwama attack in Kashmir. The alleged killings have raised serious concerns about international law and India’s relationship with Western countries. Some experts have seen this as a more aggressive foreign policy by India, which could strain relations between India, Pakistan, Canada, and the US. India has been accused of assassinations on their soil by these countries.

India has denied all allegations, claiming that targeted killings are not government policy. However, the allegations remain significant, and independent verification of the evidence presented by Pakistan is yet to be carried out. The true extent of India’s alleged program is also unknown, with some reports suggesting that the program may be much more extensive than initially believed. These allegations could have severe long-term consequences for regional stability, and it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold in the coming months.
