During this period, salaried individuals contributed an impressive Rs368 billion in taxes, a substantial rise of Rs103.74 billion compared to the Rs264.26 billion collected in the previous fiscal year, 2022-23. This represents a notable 39.3% increase in tax contributions from the salaried segment within just one year. Among the various sources of revenue, contracts, bank profits, and securities emerged as the leading contributors to this growth.
