Jail Bharo Tehreek and PTI Social Media Army
PTI and former prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, have been in agitation mode Since the ouster of the former Prime Minister, Imran Khan. Irrespective of the merit of the political agitation, one thing is definite, PTI and Imran Khan have already hit the core of their political, administrative and martial opponents. On one side, it is the determination of Imran Khan, and on another side, the social media army of PTI have been outwitting their political opponents. The combination of the IK and PTI social media teams makes all the political strategies of PTI relevant and successful.
Elections have become a riddle, and there is wavering political obscurity around them despite the constitutional timelines and subsequent Court orders. Therefore, PTI has decided to up the anti and pressurize the incumbent PDM government to ensure timely elections. Pakistan is a constitutional democracy, and political parties are regulated under relevant constitutional and legislative provisions. Political agitation is also a fundamental part of the political process. Therefore, PTI, as they believe, has announced a political movement called ” Jail Bharo Tehreek”. Party sources claim the purpose of the campaign is to ensure timely elections and, additionally, to prove a point that they are not afraid of jails as political workers.
However, more significant is the campaign’s successful outcome as far as the political perspective of PTI is concerned. Then, there is always a symbolic justification. Political heat and pressure are always there to meet political objectives. Apart from the political outcomes, the PTI social media team started the campaign with a bang. Their official social media pages show inspirational messages, videos and political graphics. It is here that PTI social media team is unbeatable. The campaign’s physical success depends on the political organization of the party; however, for the electronic campaign, the social media teams of PTI are inspiring their voters and supporters alike.
It is premature to assume whether the movement shall succeed or not. Then, these are symbolic political moves and successes or failures are not measured in traditional ways. However, it shall undoubtedly pressure the incumbent government to hold early elections and curtail political criminal litigation. PTI social media teams and volunteers shall remain active on the social media platforms irrespective of the physical performance of the political organizations of PTI. Then, Pakistan requires political stability for economic stability. Elections are constitutional obligations, and political rapprochement is the political and democratic value of a democracy. Hence, the nation observes whether constitutional and political obligations are met or not.
