PDM revs Up for Supreme Court Showdown

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), in a fiery display of discontent, is all set to stage a sit-in outside the Supreme Court. Fueled by protests against the judiciary’s “blanket relief” to Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the PDM’s leadership will gather at the venue to make their voices heard.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the formidable leader of PDM – an alliance comprising 13 political parties, made an emphatic announcement on Friday. With Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial in their crosshairs for allegedly favoring Khan, the PDM is determined to make their presence felt outside the Supreme Court.
