Multan Sultans defeated defending champions Lahore Qalandars by 60 runs to register their fifth win in the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Batting first, Multan Sultans displayed a brilliant batting performance and scored 214 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Usman Khan played an explosive innings of 96 runs off 55 balls and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 40 runs off 18 balls.
For Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 2 wickets while Carlos Brathwaite and Sekoge Prasanna took one wicket each.
In response, the team of Lahore Qalandars scored 154 runs in 17 overs and got out.
