Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced important instructions for its supporters ahead of the planned protest on November 24, which party leader Imran Khan has called a crucial moment for the future of the party.
In a statement shared on PTI’s social media, it was emphasized that the November 24 protest will decide the fate of party members. Imran Khan is quoted as saying, “This will be the day of decision, when it will be decided who will remain in my party and who will not.”
PTI leaders are urging supporters to join large convoys traveling along major roads and to document the event with video footage. The videos should not only show the vehicles but also the people accompanying them.
Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, has also sent a strong message to party members. She made it clear that any National Assembly member or party official who does not attend the protest will no longer be part of PTI. This message came after a meeting of PTI members in Peshawar, where she addressed party workers and reiterated her husband’s call to take to the streets in defense of the constitution, rule of law, and parliamentary supremacy.
Bushra Bibi also emphasized that every provincial and national assembly member should film their journey as part of the convoy traveling from Peshawar to Islamabad for the protest, and to capture the supporters joining them.
She also addressed internal party divisions, urging members to stay focused on the protest rather than engaging in conflicts. “Disputes will harm the party and Imran Khan’s mission,” she warned, urging everyone to prioritize the protest.
PTI’s leadership is fully prepared for a large-scale protest on November 24, with plans to “storm” Islamabad from all directions. According to sources, the leadership is determined to reach Islamabad at any cost, with key responsibilities assigned to party leaders in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The protest will begin with regional leaders organizing mass demonstrations in these areas until convoys from other provinces arrive.
PTI has planned separate routes for each provincial convoy, all heading to Islamabad. The final location of the sit-in is yet to be decided, but there is a strong possibility that it could take place at D-Chowk. The protest is expected to continue indefinitely, according to the core committee members.
