The Rawalpindi district administration had asked the PTI to change the venue of its planned sit-in from Faizabad to some other place in the city, including Liaquat Bagh or Chandni Chowk to avoid any problem to the visiting English cricket team, which will carry out practice sessions at Rawalpindi cricket stadium from Nov 28.
A number of private educational institutions in Rawalpindi have already announced holidays on Friday and Saturday without waiting for the official announcement by the government.
