The Election Commission of Pakistan has stopped the Returning Officers from issuing the final notification of the successful candidates of NA-15, NA-47 and NA-48.
A four-member bench headed by the Chief Election Commissioner heard the case.
The petitioners, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif from NA-15 Mansehra, Shoaib Shaheen from NA-47 and Syed Ali Bukhari from NA-48 Islamabad, have requested the Election Commission to direct the concerned ROs to wait for the outcome of the case in these constituencies. The overall results should not be released.
