Zimbabwe won by 80 runs against Pakistan in a rain-affected one-day international at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Sunday.
Zimbabwe posted 205 all out in 40.2 overs, with a key partnership of 62 runs for the eighth wicket between Richard Ngarava (48) and Sikandar Raza (39).
Pakistan, coming off a 3-0 T20 series defeat to Australia, found themselves struggling at 60-6 after 21 overs when heavy rain, thunder, and lightning halted the match. After several hours of delay, the game was called off, and the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method was applied, awarding Zimbabwe a dominant win.
The teams will meet again on Tuesday and Thursday for two more ODIs, followed by a three-match T20 series. Pakistan will then head to South Africa for a full-format tour.
