Pakistan’s Mohammad Shahzad emerged victorious with a dazzling double triumph at the Portugal National Indoor Rowing Championship, taking home the gold in both the 500m and 2,000m races of the Master Category (for individuals aged 60-64).
With lightning speed, Shahzad powered through the 500m race in a time of 1 minute and 33 seconds, leaving his competitors in his wake. He then went on to claim the title in the 2,000m event, crossing the finish line in a remarkable 7 minutes and 20 seconds.
It’s worth mentioning that Shahzad is the proud papa of two talented athletes – badminton player Mahoor Shahzad and weightlifter Rabia Shahzad.
