Hollywood honours Tom Cruise for three decades of production

Hollywood legend Tom Cruise was honoured with the David O. Selznick achievement award at the Producers Guild of America Awards on Saturday night. The 60-year-old star of Top Gun: Maverick was lauded for his nearly 30 years of work as a producer, starting from the iconic movie Mission Impossible in 1996.

In his acceptance speech, Cruise expressed his love for making movies and his desire for adventure. He thanked his producing partner Jerry Bruckheimer for opening the door for him and enabling him to live the life he always wanted.

The actor also paid tribute to his partners, Steven Spielberg and former Paramount CEO Sherry Lansing, for their support. In closing, Cruise thanked all his audiences for letting him entertain them, saying that he is always rooting for them.
