Prince William has expressed his strong displeasure regarding Netflix’s portrayal of his late mother, Princess Diana, as a ghost in the upcoming season 6 of the popular series “The Crown.”

The teaser for the forthcoming season features a ghostly depiction of Diana engaging in a conversation with then-Prince Charles and the late Queen Elizabeth.

According to a close friend of Prince William, he is deeply upset by this portrayal. The friend told The Daily Beast, “It’s highly distressing to have his mother’s memory repeatedly exploited in this sensationalized manner by Netflix. He won’t watch it, but he will find it deeply distressing.”

When asked if William is also upset with his younger brother, Prince Harry, for his ongoing work with the streaming platform, the friend stated, “William is upset about various aspects related to Harry.”

“Harry’s decision to collaborate with Netflix, a company that has ruthlessly capitalized on the family, is undoubtedly one of those aspects,” added Prince William’s friend.

“At this point, it’s rather absurd. I believe the show has lost the credibility it possessed in its early years.”
