ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to vote for Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate for the Prime Ministership in the National Assembly.
Addressing a press conference after the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting, People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that his party does not have the mandate to form the government at the Centre.
He said that because of this I will not put myself forward for the candidature of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, adding that the number of Muslim League-N and independent candidates is more in the centre.
He added that the PTI had refused to form an alliance with the PPP, leaving the Muslim League (N) as the only party to invite the PPP to join the government.
