Ukrainian military officials reported on Sunday that their air defenses successfully destroyed 56 out of 108 drones launched by Russia during the latest overnight strike. The Ukrainian forces also mentioned that an additional 49 drones were “locationally lost,” likely due to electronic jamming.
Meanwhile, Russia claimed that it had destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones during the same period. Despite these efforts, debris from the destroyed drones caused damage to infrastructure, as well as to apartment buildings and homes, according to Ukraine’s air force.
