Lahore: The Election Commission has allotted election symbols to the candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to contest the election as an independent.
Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, who was deprived of the post of PTI Chairman after the decision of the Supreme Court, has been allotted the symbol of ‘Chai Ki Patli’.
Shahryar Afridi will contest the elections with the symbol of “Bottle”, Shandana Gulzar has got the symbol of “Piala” and Alia Hamza Malik from Lahore has got the symbol of “Dice”.
PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s son and daughter, Zain and Meher Bano were allotted the election symbols of “Jote” and “Tweezers” respectively.

Dr Riaz Ling’s election symbol is “Rocket” and Sanaullah Khan Mastikhel from Bhakkar has got “Letter Box”.
PTI Central President Pervaiz Elahi’s wife Qaisara Elahi will contest the election on the symbol of “Fridge”, Aamir Dogar from Multan got “Ghri” and Irfanullah Khan Niazi got “Ghri”.
It may be recalled that the Supreme Court in its verdict on the ECP’s appeal on Saturday deprived the PTI of its “bat” election symbol after which the election watchdog started allotting election symbols to party candidates. who will contest the election as an independent candidate
