PTI senior leader Fawad Husain has stated that the number of attackers is more than one. He states that former Prime Minister is the leader of the nation and a symbol of Pakistani federation and unity. He states that the attack on Ik is an attack on Pakistan. The senior leadership meeting also saluted the martyrdom of Moazzam Gondal and the courage and bravery of Ibtisam.
The leadership examined the background of the attack in detail, and described it as a prelude to a well-thought-out conspiracy. Rana Sanaullah, Shahbaz Sharif and Major General Faisal Naseer are blamed for the conspiracy according to Ch. Fawad Husain. The meeting also expressed the disappointment over the performance of IG Punjab and demanded immediate replacement of the IG.
He further informed that the former Prime Minister will address the nation today and latter will be taken into confidence on important issues related to this conspiracy. He further adds that Azadi March will continue till objectives are achieved.
