Former Prime Minister & most Popular Leader in Pakistan is Taken into Custody

Sources have confirmed that Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, was taken into custody by law enforcement agencies after appearing in the Islamabad High Court to extend his bail. The arrest is reportedly related to a case being pursued by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). There are reports indicating that Mr. Khan may have been subjected to physical abuse during the course of his arrest, and his legal counsel was allegedly attacked by law enforcement agencies. Mr. Khan’s current whereabouts are unknown. It is worth noting that Mr. Khan had made statements critical of the military chief and the ISI prior to his arrest.
