Doha: The funeral prayers of Hamas leader and former Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and his bodyguard were performed in Doha.
The funeral prayers of Hamas leader and former Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and his bodyguard were held at the Imam Mohammed bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque, after which they will be laid to rest at the cemetery in the city of Lusail, Qatar.
According to Arab media, the funeral prayer of Ismail Haniya was attended by a large number of leaders and people from different countries around the world.
The Emir of Qatar, the Turkish Foreign Minister and the delegation of Al-Fateh attended the funeral prayer of Ismail Haniya, while the Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman is also in Qatar to attend the funeral prayer of Ismail Haniya.

Earlier, Ismail Haniyeh’s body was taken to his residence in the Qatari capital, while the bodies of Ismail Haniyeh and his bodyguard Waseem Abu Usman wrapped in Palestinian flags were transported from Tehran to Doha airport.
Ismail Haniya’s funeral prayers were held in many countries including Pakistan, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also offered funeral prayers at the Parliament House along with the members of the National Assembly.
