Imran Khan blasts unsupervised crowd for chaos

Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has denied the rumors of a deal being made during his meeting with President Dr. Arif Alvi, as reported by Republic Policy News on Friday.

During a press conference held at the court premises, the former premier clarified that President Alvi had not brought any messages from anyone, and that no deals had been made.

Khan expressed his gratitude to the judiciary for upholding the Constitution, after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered authorities to not arrest the PTI Chairman in any cases, including those that are undisclosed, registered across the country, until May 15.

Addressing the recent protests, Khan stated that when a crowd takes to the streets without a leader’s supervision, it tends to spiral out of control. He also cautioned the government against leading the country towards anarchy, stating that if Pakistan becomes like Sri Lanka, it will be out of everyone’s hands.

It should be noted that President Dr. Arif Alvi had visited the Police Lines Guest House to meet with Imran Khan.
