Princess Diana’s biographer, Andrew Morton, recently revealed that the late Princess had no regrets about collaborating on a book about her life.
Morton, who wrote the biography with Diana’s assistance, stated that the Princess passed away without any regrets. However, during an interview with Hello! magazine’s A Right Royal Podcast, Morton mentioned that there was an important question he never asked the former Princess of Wales, “Why are you doing it?”
He added that she may have questioned her decision to participate in the book. Morton also mentioned that Diana was always “relieved” that the book was finally released.
He stated that Diana was in tears when he sent her a chapter that brought back difficult memories from her childhood. He noted that revisiting her past was like ploughing a field, bringing up a lot of unhappiness.
