The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to move the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh from Karachi to Rawalpindi. This decision came about due to ongoing construction work and tight scheduling at the National Bank Stadium, taking into consideration the need to accommodate the construction experts’ recommendation. The construction work, if carried out during the match, could have disturbed the players and affected the well-being of everyone involved, including officials, broadcasters, and media personnel. The decision to relocate the match to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was taken after consultation with all parties involved and reviewing operational and logistical considerations.
