Dr Salman Khan, a Pakistan-born marathon runner, has become the first Pakistani to complete all six of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, an esteemed title in the world of marathon championships.
The six-star marathon championship medal is awarded to those who complete the Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, New York and Tokyo marathons. During his first marathon in Boston, Salman set his sights on winning the six-star medal.
In an interview, he expressed how much the medal meant to him and his country and even hopes to participate in the Paris Olympian marathon championship in 2024. Salman also advised those who plan to participate in the race, telling them to enjoy running and remain consistent and dedicated.
He wants to inspire his fellow Pakistanis and reminds them that nothing is impossible. The marathon championship had a total of 11 Pakistani or Pakistani-born American and British participants, including five women.
