Kashmir Exploitation Day is being celebrated today against the incident of usurpation of Occupied Kashmir by the Indian government.
August 5, 2019 is being remembered as a black day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir as it completed five years of its special status. Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world are observing August 5 as Kashmir Exploitation Day.
On the occasion of Exploitation of Kashmir Day, the Prime Minister of Pakistan will address a special session of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Kashmir today, while a walk has also been organized in Islamabad, in which people of different schools of thought, including parliamentarians, will participate.

It should be noted that India ended the special status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir through force today, which was rejected by the Kashmiris, India converted Occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a full military cantonment after August 5, 2019.
Due to the brutality of the Indian army, 907 Kashmiris were martyred, more than 2400 were injured during 5 years while 24 thousand were also arrested.
Like the Kashmiri people, Pakistan also demands from the international community and the United Nations to take notice of the increasing atrocities of the Indian forces in Kashmir and to take steps to ensure the implementation of the resolutions of the United Nations.
