Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, spoke out on Sunday and declared that the entire country is standing strong with their Kashmiri siblings in their pursuit for liberation. He claimed to have brought to light the cruel and inhumane acts inflicted by India on the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who are under illegal Indian occupation, on the global stage.
A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) visited the Prime Minister and the PM Office Media Wing released a statement about the meeting. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for solidarity, putting political differences aside, to protect the national interest.
He expressed confidence that the day of freedom for the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is not far away, if they maintain unity and focus on national issues.
Among the attendees at the meeting were AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, APHC leaders, AJK Legislative Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, and several federal ministers, including Khawaja Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Murtaza Javaid Abbasi, and Advisor to the PM Qamar Zaman Kaira.
