Asif emphasized that the evidence points to a connection between Imran Khan and the targeting of military installations during protests on May 9. The minister also alluded to Faiz Hameed’s ambitions to become army chief and his alleged outreach to the PMLN leadership for support. Asif further discussed plans to create internal disturbances within the Pakistan Army in order to thwart PTI’s complaints.
