Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has commenced a working visit to Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. The invitation to visit the Kyrgyz Republic was extended to him by Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev following their meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers and paved the way for this important visit.
Minister Dar and Foreign Minister Kulubaev traveled together from Astana to Bishkek, underscoring the significance of the discussions and engagements ahead.
During his time in Bishkek, the Deputy Prime Minister will hold discussions with the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister to address the concerns of Pakistani nationals residing in the Kyrgyz Republic. This includes addressing recent issues faced by Pakistani students, demonstrating the government’s commitment to safeguarding the interests and well-being of its citizens abroad.
Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with a Pakistani national who is undergoing treatment for injuries resulting from recent developments. This meeting underscores the government’s dedication to providing support and assistance to Pakistani citizens in challenging situations abroad.
