The National Security Committee reiterated its commitment that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan is absolutely inviolable and sacred and any attempt to undermine it under any pretext will be met with the full might of the state.

During the National Security Committee meeting chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar in Islamabad, the forum reiterated that the security and safety of the people of Pakistan is of utmost importance and no effort should be spared to ensure it. will

The meeting took stock of the situation and appreciated the professional and proportionate response of the Pakistani forces against the unprovoked and illegal violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.

During the meeting, the participants were apprised of the political and diplomatic developments regarding the current situation between Pakistan and Iran and its impact on the overall security situation in the region.

The forum also reviewed Operation Marg Bar Sarmchar, which was successfully conducted against Baloch terrorists of Pakistani origin residing in ungoverned areas inside Iran.

An update on the border situation and the comprehensive preparations required for a comprehensive response to further violation of national sovereignty were also discussed.

The forum expressed that Iran, being a neighboring and brotherly Muslim country, should mutually use the existing multiple communication channels between the two countries to address each other’s security concerns in the broader interest of regional peace and stability. What should be done?

The meeting emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries in accordance with the UN Charter and international norms.

The Committee also reiterated its resolve that the menace of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations will be dealt with with an iron hand.

The forum also highlighted that Pakistan has suffered more than any other country from this scourge of terrorism.

It was concluded in the meeting that according to the international principles of conducting good neighborly relations, the two countries will be able to overcome minor obstacles through mutual dialogue and diplomacy and pave the way for further deepening of their historical relations. will

The meeting was attended by caretaker ministers of Defence , Foreign Affairs, Finance and Information, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Air Staff and heads of intelligence agencies.
