Brain drain is a term used to describe the emigration of highly skilled and talented individuals from one country to another. Brain drain occurs when individuals leave their home country to seek better opportunities and higher salaries in other countries. In many cases, highly skilled individuals are attracted to countries with better working conditions, higher salaries, and more opportunities for personal and professional growth.

  4. Improve education and training: The government can improve the quality of education and training in the country to ensure that its highly skilled workforce has the necessary skills and knowledge to compete in the global market.
  5. Provide better healthcare facilities: The government can provide better healthcare facilities to its citizens. This will help to retain its highly skilled workforce and prevent them from leaving the country for better healthcare facilities abroad.
  6. Offer tax incentives: The government can offer tax incentives to highly skilled workers to encourage them to stay in the country. This can include tax breaks, reduced taxes, and other financial incentives.

In conclusion, brain drain is a significant challenge for Pakistan as it results in a loss of human capital, which is critical for the country’s economic growth and development. The government can take several measures to control brain drain, including creating more job opportunities, improving working conditions and salaries, encouraging entrepreneurship, improving education and training, providing better healthcare facilities, and offering tax incentives.

Lastly, the most critical part is to end the feelings of social & political alienation. There is a wider range of complaints regarding the social insensitivities of the society. The society seems less receptive to the social & cultural needs of youth in Pakistan especially the females. Furthermore, political alienation is also one of the fundamental reasons of brain drain. Youth want political actualization. They want rule of law, right to elect their representatives, political participation & accountability of Institutions. They want progressive democratic transition & growth. Brain drain will only be controlled through it.
