The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, Najam Sethi, has implored the public to refrain from bombarding him with demands for jobs or advancements within the organization.
Sethi, the former PCB chairman, took to social media to address “relatives, friends, associates, and those in positions of power,” asking them to desist from making such entreaties.
The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed the 74-year-old as the head of the management committee last month with the goal of rejuvenating the PCB’s 2014 Constitution, thereby ending the tenure of former chairman Ramiz Raja. In a tweet, Sethi exclaimed that he is inundated with “pleas” from various quarters and stressed that the PCB is not a recruitment agency.
He emphasized that he will not compromise the professional integrity of the organization by indulging in questionable practices from the past.
