PM Shehbaz to Attend Funeral of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to travel to Tehran on Wednesday to participate in the funeral of the late Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi, who tragically passed away in a helicopter crash on May 19.

The funeral ceremony will be held in Tehran and is expected to be attended by leaders from various countries, including those from Muslim-majority nations.

The Pakistani government has conveyed its condolences to Iran over the devastating loss of President Raisi and other prominent individuals in the helicopter crash. As a mark of respect, Pakistan will observe a day of mourning and the national flag will be flown at half-mast.
