The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Fawad Chaudhary, has publicly criticized Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto’s proposed attendance at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting in Goa, India.
In a tweet on Friday, Chaudhary condemned Bhutto’s potential visit to India, calling it a disrespectful move towards the sacrifices made by the people of Kashmir.
Chaudhary suggested that the push for cooperation with India while sidelining the Kashmir issue was part of an international agenda, and that the current Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government had been imposed to serve this agenda.
While emphasizing that PTI supports friendly relations with other countries, including India, Chaudhary stated that his party would not allow Pakistan to become a puppet state.
