Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has said that Iran’s attack on Pakistan’s borders is not only a serious violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty, but also a serious violation of international laws and the spirit of bilateral relations.
He was talking to his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, who telephoned him.
Expressing Pakistan’s unreserved condemnation of this attack, the Foreign Minister further said that this incident has severely damaged the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran.
The foreign minister further said that Pakistan reserves the right to respond to this provocative act.

Emphasizing that terrorism is a common threat to the region and coordinated and concerted efforts are needed to combat this scourge, the Foreign Minister stressed that unilateral actions are a serious threat to regional peace and stability can reach.
He said that no country in the region should follow this dangerous path.
Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani is currently leading the Pakistani delegation at the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Kampala, Uganda.
