Islamabad: 5 police officers including SHO Margalla have been temporarily suspended due to the police raid on the house of Barrister Gauhar Khan.
On Saturday, unidentified masked men attacked the PTI chairman’s son and nephew at his residence, while Barrister Gohar was attending a Supreme Court hearing on his party’s election symbol “bat”.
According to the spokesperson of the Federal Police, an inquiry has been conducted on the raid on Gohar’s house yesterday. He further said that on a tip-off, the police reached a house in search of wanted criminals and found that it belonged to Gohar Ali Khan.

According to the Islamabad Police, Barrister Gauhar had complained to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court about the raid incident. The Chief Justice summoned the IG and issued an order to investigate the matter.
Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan appointed DPO City as Inquiry Officer and issued orders to submit a detailed report within 3 days. Dr. Akbar has assured Barrister Gauhar that legal action will be taken if any police officer is found guilty.
